THEMES FOR THE LAW CONFERENCE:
  1. Socialism and policies favoring Capitalism
  2. Welfare State and withdrawal of State from necessary functions
  3. Sovereignty and international treaty obligations
  4. Separation of Powers and delegation of powers to regulatory agencies
ABSTRACT
The abstract must not exceed 300 words and must be accomponied by a cover page containing the following:
  1. Sub-theme; Title of paper
  2. Name of author(s); Name of institution/university/college/company
  3. Email address; Postal address of correspondence; Contact number
PAPER
  1. The Paper must not exceed 3000-3500 words. This in  inclusive of footnoting.
  2. Co-authorship is allowed to an extent of 2 authors. In case of co-authorship at least 1 author must attend the conference to present the paper.
  3. The Paper must be on A4 size sheet, 12 point Times New Roman font with 1.5 line spacing.
  4. The footnotes must follow Bluebook 19th edition with 10 point Times New Roman font and single line spacing.
  5. The Paper must be accompanied with a cover page, the contents of which are mentioned for in the Abstract requirements.
  6. The Manuscript must not bear identification of any kind.
  7. We encourage participants to submit their manuscripts in MS Word format and use gender neutral language.

All submissions for the conference have to be electronically mailed with the subject column as “Submission-Abstract” in case of the Abstract and “Submission-Paper” in case of the Paper only at the following email address: conference2012@law.christuniversity.in

GLC Mumbai Model United NAtions MUN Conference from Jan 27th - 29th 2012

Themeatically opening conference for all SAARC Nations, the conference would be a part of the International Relations & Diplomaacy Conclave which would include interactive sessions with Ministers, Diplomats, and Bureaucrats from India and abroad.

The conference also aims to introduce a ‘Social Ventures’ programme, wherein delegates and students can sign up with various Non-Governmental Organisations and Social Organisations to work towards the development and progress of the downtrodden, organise cleanliness drives and propagate the benefits of education, hygiene and health through seminars.
